At SPN we are creating an environment that endeavors to reduce the ecological footprint we place on our fragile planet. We are dedicated to the ethical and responsible reduction of waste caused by End of Life (EOL) vehicles at our site.

We are addressing these issues through the following initiatives.

DISMANTLING EOL VEHICLE

EOL Vehicles are dismantled using state of the art Austrian engineered SEDA de-pollution systems to ensure the working areas remain free of accidental oil and fuel spills. Fuel is reused and oil recycled.

STORM WATER PROTECTION

We use purpose-built wash bays for degreasing and washing of engines and gearboxes and appropriate stormwater filtration systems have been incorporated to protect our waterways from harmful run off.

WASTE TRACKING

Parts are sourced from EOL vehicles to be repurposed for sale, therefore reducing the need to produce new parts. What’s left of the dismantled vehicle is crushed and repurposed as scrap steel used in manufacturing new products from old.
